The Pärnu Year Races series, which began in 1985, is inspired by the Eastern calendar and dedicated each year to the corresponding year's symbolic animal. This year, the Year of the Snake run will take place, consisting of nine stages, visiting three locations, where each will be run three times. The season opens on April 29 with a 1500-meter race in Pärnu Vallikäär, followed by a beach run of 3000 meters on June 10, and the season concludes with a 5000-meter race in Reiu-Raekülamäe on August 19. Free children's races will be held at all stages, and participants who complete at least six stages will receive a dragon-themed medal at the end of the season.
Highlights
- During the season, three locations are visited, with three laps at each.
- Free children's runs will take place during all stages.
